Our software doesn’t stop at the cloud. It runs on real-world hardware, controls vehicles, processes sensor data, and helps machines understand the world around them. We’re a team of 40 people developing software for automotive, smart agriculture, logistics, mining, and life sciences.

Your mission with us

Technologies we use at RoboAuto:

Primarily C++ 20/23, with a bit of Bash and Python.
Libraries: Boost, Qt, OpenCV, Eigen, Botan, etc.
We work with Linux and Docker, and use Portainer, Conan, Git, CMake, CI, GitLab, and Google Tests.

You’ll start by working on our in-house development projects and gradually find the areas that best match your interests and strengths. At Roboauto, we work across the entire technology stack – from sensors, embedded systems, and drivers through algorithms and computer vision all the way to AI.

In practice, you might:

develop and deploy software on hardware that actually moves,
process sensor data and develop algorithms for obstacle detection and collision avoidance systems,
work on computer vision and other technologies that help machines perceive their surroundings,
contribute to remote and autonomous vehicle control,
work on streaming and network communication.

You won’t just write code. You’ll get to see what your software actually does in the real world.

What you bring to the table

You have at least 3 years of hands-on commercial experience with C++17 or newer and Python.
You’re comfortable working with Linux and Git.
You can navigate a complex technical environment and learn quickly.
You take ownership of your work and see things through to completion.
You work independently while being able to collaborate with others to find the best solution.
You’re comfortable communicating in English, and Czech or Slovak is your native language.
